Dear Secret Sister,
I did get your package with the lip gloss and perfume. Thank you so much!
I have been having serious computer issues. My computer is fried and so I can only post from someone else's house.
You had asked about how I decorate I think. I have apples in my kitchen. I am considering changing my decor to a cottage style but haven't decided yet. I do not have any pets currently. Our cat died last fall and I have not gotten another one yet although my daughter does really want one. I like to scrapbook and read. Love bath stuff, pampering stuff, etc..
I will try to post here again in the next week or so.

I recieved my gift on Christmas Eve. Thank you so much. I just love the little bag and goodies so much. So does my daughter who keeps trying to "borrow" the little bag from me! I want to take some pictures of it to post soon!

Busy busy

Life has been so busy lately that I've totally neglected this blog.

We had some appointments today and then a few errands to run and so we just got home from those and I am exhausted.

I am going to try to post a few thing tomorrow if all goes well. We are planning our annual cookie baking day at my mom's tomorrow so we'll be doing school there tomorrow while we bake.

This past week I got a gift from my secret sister.
It was a pair of the prettiest painted bells. My kids all went crazy wanting to hold them. What a nice surprise in the middle of a crazy week!

Long time....no blog

Ok I am back! I have had a terrible time logging into this blogger account. I finally was able to get in contact with blogger/google and get my password reset and so here I am. I am not sure what the issue was but it's nice to be back!

Upside Down Pumpkin Pie

I got this recipe from the Making it Home group. I have not tried it yet but it looks good and I plan to try it this week.

Large can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
4 large eggs
2 cans evaporated milk

Mix and pour into a 9x13 dish

Top with 1 box of yellow cake mix

Melt 1 stick of butter and drizzle over the top

Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes.
